National Association of Police Organizations

Nationwide® Retirement Solutions (Nationwide) makes payments to the National Association of Police Organizations (NAPO) for services related to the Nationwide Post Employment Health Plans (PEHP) that NAPO performs for its members. These services include:

  • Advocacy of the PEHP program
  • Providing access to NAPO conferences
  • Permission to use NAPO logos in PEHP marketing materials.

Partnership

Nationwide pays a fixed amount to NAPO in exchange for its advocacy and marketing of Nationwide's products and services in the deferred compensation program. Nationwide may also pay NAPO in support of promotional items at NAPO conferences.

NAPO serves all of its members and public sector employees generally by permitting these employers to provide a benefit program to their employees without incurring the costs associated with independently designing a similar health care arrangement.

Nationwide is committed to providing quality products and services to plan sponsors and their participants. As with most business expenses, the cost of this relationship is reflected in product and service pricing. Nationwide does not represent that PEHP is the lowest cost product available to plan sponsors. Plan sponsors and PEHP participants are encouraged to review the advantages and disadvantages of the PEHP program including the fees and expenses of the program.

This Trademark, Licensing and Services Agreement does not extend to Nationwide Investment Advisors, LLC (NIA) or its provision of advice, or a reflection of any NAPO member's experience as a client of NIA. NIA is not a party to the relationship between Nationwide Retirement Solutions (NRS) and NAPO. NIA has not engaged NAPO to solicit retirement plan participants as clients for Nationwide ProAccount®. Nationwide’s payments made to NAPO are not affected by whether an entity’s member chooses to include the Nationwide ProAccount option in its deferred compensation plan or whether a plan participant elects the service.
